This very elegant design was widely used by French Modernist Architect Le Corbusier in his interior fit outs during the mid 1920s. The Thonet No.B9 is often used in combination with the No. 18 model as an end 'carver' chair. Can be used as a dining arm chair, or as a compact occasional chair for lounge or bedroom.
