Thonet Home is an edited capsule collection handpicked from Thonet NZ’s commercial & hospitality furniture brands for a new focus on residential spaces for the local market. It highlights our passion for supplying bespoke NZ furniture and internationally acclaimed brands to create spaces with provenance.
Our enduring commitment to good design and great furniture naturally extends to a lifelong passion for beautiful interiors. Thonet Home style is classic modern and we believe you can mix old and new, dark and light timber colours and different genres to create spaces with depth and integrity within a relaxed, unique NZ lifestyle.
Our team have qualifications and years of experience in industrial, interior and textile design and although we don’t offer in-depth interior design as a service, we offer free home visits and space planning advice. If you do require interior design services we can introduce you to some of the best in the business.
We have committed relationships with brands who hold authentic licenses to some of the great furniture designers of the 20th Century from Europe, Scandinavian & America including Michael Thonet, Alvar & Aino Aalto, Phillippe Stark & Jasper Morrison. Thonet Home offers products which have been tested and approved for strength, increasingly more recycled or recyclable content and long term use ensuring your informed choices are sustainable for the planet and your life.
